TERMS & CONDITIONS

Thank you for choosing Sign Post Installing LLC (“SPI”) to service your listings and leverage your business! By logging in with SPI and placing an order for SPI’s services, you are acknowledging receipt of and agreeing to the following policies, terms, conditions, prices, and fees:

-       All charges are PER ORDER. Think of this as per-trip. An installation order includes the removal service for free. A swap, repair, delivery, pickup, re-attempt, etc is a separate order.

-       The price for an installation & removal of a 5’ post is $80.

-       The price for an installation & removal of a 6’ post is $90.

-       SPI’s Standard Service Fee (“SSF”) is $40. The SSF is the base cost, if not otherwise defined, for any trip to any location.

-       Zone Fees (“ZF”) apply to any type of order. The ZF is always in addition to the SSF, and is determined by the distance from SPI’s warehouse location. The ZF in SPI’s primary service area is $0.

-       A panel swap is charged at the SSF + ZF.

-       A rider swap is charged at $20 + ZF.

-       A pickup/delivery order is $0 + ZF.

-       Once a post and/or sign is installed, a renewal fee of $40 is charged once every 180 days until removal. A curtesy reminder email is sent out to clients 14 days prior to the renewal fee applying.

-       Late Fees are $40 every 30 days after invoices are created.

-       SPI does not offer same day service. The next business day following Client’s order placement is considered “Day 1” and the first possible day for order completion.

-       SPI strives to complete all orders within 3 business days. However, turnaround time is not guaranteed.

-       SPI does not meet Clients or homeowners at listings. It is impossible to know exactly what time SPI will arrive at any given location.

-       SPI does not go inside houses, properties, fences, garages, or lockboxes. Client must leave all items (panels, posts, riders, etc.) outside in an accessible location. Client will still be charged for any unsuccessful trip to the property.

-       SPI’s installers do not call clients directly. All calls and communications must go through SPI’s office at 87-SIGN-GUY-1 (877-446-4891) or info@signpostinstalling.com.

-       Clients are responsible for placing their own orders in the system, via app or website (SignPostInstalling.com). SPI is not obligated to place orders on behalf of clients. SPI reserves the right to charge a fee for orders placed by SPI at client’s request.

-       Clients must verify the map location when placing any type of order. The map location is where SPI will go to complete orders.

-       Clients are required to mark the physical installation location. SPI recommends use of our small utility flag’s (purple and marked with our logo) to mark exact location for post installation.

-       If no flag is present, SPI will use best judgement and expertise to choose an installation location. SPI holds no liability in location selection. If client does not like the location and would like the post repositioned, requiring another trip back to the site, they will be charged the SSF + ZF.

-       Client is responsible to provide a safe, precise installation location at the property. Client is responsible for locating all gas, water, septic, sewer, sprinkler, cable lines, utilities, etc., as well as calling UDig NY at 811 in advance of installation, to mark utility locations, as required by law. Client is liable for any damages resulting from installation location, whether client provided exact location for installation or not.

-       Client is responsible to confirm post & sign placement is allowed as per the property owner, seller, HOA, town, City, zoning, code, and/or ordinances, etc. SPI is not responsible to confirm such allowability. Placing an order implies Client has the right, permission, and approvals to allow SPI to install post and/or signage.

-       Vacant land is especially difficult, as there is no house nor mailing address. When placing a vacant land installation order, Client is required to provide the nearest GPS address, confirm mapping location is correct, AND mark vacant land installation location with a flag.

-       Order notes are not a substitute for placing an order correctly. Client is still required to provide the correct address, mapping location, and flag on site, as well as to select the correct items when placing an order.

-       If the property owner does not allow SPI to complete an order, or SPI is incumbered from completing an order in any way, Client will still be charged their original order total, or the SSF + ZF, whichever is greater.

-       If SPI has to go back to the property for any reason to complete an order, Client will be charged an additional SSF + ZF.

-       Post, sign & accessories are assumed ‘in care of’ the client from the time of installation to the time of removal.

-       Any post, sign, or items removed by a homeowner, buyer, seller, municipality, utility company, client, agent, contractor, builder, etc., will be charged to Client as missing. Client is responsible for recovery of any said missing post, sign, or items.

-       At the time of removal, missing fees will be charged to Client for items missing or damaged beyond further use. Missing fees are determined by the type of item missing, and subject to change depending on the cost of replacement. Missing fees for a 5’ posts are $50, 6’ posts are $60, and riders are $25. There is no fee for missing sign panels, as these are owned by the Client.

-       Client will be refunded for any missing item that is later returned.

-       If SPI makes a trip to the property for a removal, client will be charged, even if the post & sign were missing.

-       Client will be charged their original order total, or the SSF + ZF, whichever is greater, for any attempted trip, whether or not order was successfully completed, if Client did not provide enough information for SPI to complete said order, and/or if Client violated any terms or conditions herein. A re-attempt follow-up trip to the location will be charged an additional SSF + ZF.

-       SPI is not responsible or financially liable for any Client sign panel missing, stolen, scratched, bent, broken or otherwise damaged or deemed unusable, whether while installed at a listing, in transit, or in the warehouse.

-       Clients are responsible for providing sign panels with grommet holes. Panels with no holes are unusable. SPI is not a sign manufacturer and SPI does not install grommets nor drill holes. A fee may be applied if SPI is required to do so to complete an order. Any such action to accommodate will not be deemed an agreement for SPI to be obligated or able to do so in the future.

-       Clients are responsible for providing sign panels to SPI “ready to go”, fully removed from any boxes, packaging, film, stickers, wrapping, etc. Removing and disposing of packaging takes time and costs money. Client may be charged for time and/or actual costs if SPI provides such services.

-       SPI will store clients sign panels in SPI’s warehouse free of charge.

-       SPI may throw away sign panels for Clients who are no longer members of the Office, unless Office requests the signs to be returned to them within 7 days of Client’s departure. SPI will not store signs that are no longer able to be used or inaccurate.

-       Any and all policies, terms, conditions, services, prices, and fees are subject to change at any time.
